Minimax H3 Character Consistency Workflow Guide

Prompt Edit here before copy/try — source content is unchanged

### Character Building
- Use .char file: Add up to 9 reference images, recommended ratio 2:2:1 (face:clothes:body). YuNet detects faces, SFace generates per-reference face signatures, DINOv2 generates subject signatures. All references are cleaned and normalized into a single portable .char file.
- Only face/ref is required; body and clothes links are optional.

### Generation Prompt
- Name your character: In the 'encode character' node, name your character (e.g., 'emmy'). When generating, simply input 'emmy walking on the beach'.
- Avoid repeating character features in the generation prompt.
- Handle character drift: If you want specific styles or clothing (e.g., half sleeves, sleeveless), specify them in the generation prompt.
- Ensure references are unique: Face, body, and clothing references should not overlap.

### Notes
- For best results, provide well-cropped references so the model takes the intended shot. The model may get confused if the clothing slot contains a face or vice versa.
- Model configuration:
  - Core model: minimax_h3_ref2va_pruned_fp8_scaled.safetensors
  - Text encoder: qwen3vl_32b_minimax_h3_nvfp4_awq.safetensors
  - VAE: minimax_h3_video_vae_fp16.safetensors
  - Annotators: face_detection_yunet_2023mar.onnx, face_recognition_sface_2021dec.onnx, dinov2-base/
- Hardware requirements: 24GB+ VRAM and 64 GB RAM (local run)
